June 8

It has been a little while since I have blogged with words, but I thought some pictures would be nice. Had a great week last week. Did alot of manual labor around the church, as well as a lot of reading and studying. I was able to talk to my family, and my grandparents. Yesterday, we had a cookout at Church. I ate a lot of interesting new stuff. I hope this week will be just as good.

A Weekend Experience

We had a great weekend, Saturday was spent doing some things around the house and painting the outside of the church. Sunday we had two great services. After church Sunday night I saw some old people dancing in the streets. This was probably the funniest thing I have seen since I have been here. I cannot imagine my grandparents out there doing that. Monday was spent traveling. Saw a inquisition museum with all the various forms of torture. It hurts jsut thinking about it. I was excited to hear about the 204 in Sunday School at White Oak Hill. It was good for Timothy's first time at it. Now he will always be able to look back at a success. If the next one don't go so well, he wil be able to go on because of this. Amen.

Another Day.

I have a confession to make. I have kissed about Thirty different women, since I have been in Spain. Not by choice though. It is the customs of the women here to kiss someone once on each cheek when they see them. When the first see you and when they are about to leave. It has been a little unusual. This past Wednesday night, I had a University of Cambridge professor in my audience. It was a little intimidating trying to speak in front of her. But we have a greater audience every time we speak, and that is God. Josh Riggs will be here in a couple of hours. It will be nice to have a familiar face walking around. Until next time, I hope you all have a great day.

Another Day in Spain

Things are still going well. Today is my Dad's 46 birthday. Only 4 more years until 50. Wow he is getting old. I have been reading a book about Laverne Miley for my Summer Internship. It is amazing how God directs the life of a person to accomplish his perfect will. I also listen to a sermon yesterday by Paul Washer, He made the statement that it is irrational for a Christian to do anything, but that which God would have him do. My prayer is that all of us would be willing to give our lives for whatever he would have us to do. Tonight I will be starting a study on the Christian's armour. I ask that you pray with me that this study will speak to hearts.
